Hank & Gerri Appreciation Party (It's a Surprise!)

Join the Oinkari Basque Dancers in celebrating Hank and Gerri's "official" retirement from the chorizo booth! If you have EVER stood behind a hot grill, sweating as you flip perfectly seasoned solomos in the blazing summer sun...join us. If you have ever shouted "ask me about my croquetas!" to total strangers in fanny packs...join us. If you have screamed in desperation, "drop 12 cho" or "how's the bun count" or "this #$%@ing soda machine is broken!"...join us. Hank and Gerri have poured more time, sweat, and love into the Oinkari chorizo booth than most of us combined. After over 50 years of summer fun, they are "officially" retiring. We all know they won't ever really quit, but let's show them some appreciation for all the amazing work they've put in for us over so many years.

Please join us on Tuesday, December 16th from 6-9pm at the Idaho Botanical Garden's Winter Garden aGlow for a celebration of chorizo booth love. The current Oinkari group has rented a heated tent and will be serving light appetizers and drinks.

Tickets for this event are $20. Your $20 will go directly to a fund to help buy a gift for Hank and Gerri (we are thinking their next set of BSU season tickets), and will get your name on the guest list. All guests will be admitted to the party as well as the regular Winter Garden aGlow exhibit.

This is a family-friendly event, so feel free to bring the kiddos. There's no ticket price for kids so just go ahead and bring them, but if you feel like adding some $$ to your donation you can.  We DO need their head count though, so we know how many tickets to buy. Your donation below will also be your RSVP.

If you cannot attend the party but would still like to make a donation to the gift fund, feel free to do so below - just choose the "donation only" option and enter your desired amount.

This is a *SURPRISE* party for Hank & Gerri - please help us keep it a secret from them!  However, we want to invite all Oinkari's and alums, so if you know anyone that would love to help us celebrate, just give them the link to this info page (here's a short one to copy/paste: http://bit.ly/achurra)

If you are coming to the party, you MUST RSVP by Sunday, December 14 so we can get enough tickets! An Oinkari will be stationed outside the entrance distributing tickets to our guests, and your name must be on our list to get your ticket.
